This isn't a theory I looked up in a training manual. I know the depth of the disappearing because I lived it.
My disappearing began at school. Four years of bullying taught me that leaving myself was safer than being seen. At sixteen, a man in a position of trust did something to me that changed everything. A violation I froze through. I couldn't speak. I couldn't say no. I couldn't move.
What followed were years of not knowing who I was beneath everyone else's version of me. Then the diagnosis. End-stage endometriosis. Fibroids. The slow, devastating realisation that I would not become a mother. My body felt like a place I couldn't afford to live anymore.
I spent nearly three decades finding my way back.
I spent nearly three decades finding my way back. It was a long journey of deep soul-searching, healing sessions, and immense inner work. Through talking therapies, I found the courage to talk about things I had carried with deep shame, experiencing what it meant to be truly witnessed. Through Buddhism, I found a path that helped me reclaim my voice. All of it was essential. And still, something remained that words couldn't reach - the automatic habit of leaving my body, where I would simply zone out, go blank, and completely "vacate the building".
That is what I now know how to teach. If you recognise your own reflection in my path, I want you to take a deep, slow breath. Let me explain what is actually happening within you.

What Is The Disappearing?
What I discovered on my journey back is that the floating, the numbness, and the quiet drift aren't random. It's the automatic response your nervous system learned when staying felt unbearable, unsafe, dangerous.
And here's what's important to understand. It wasn't a flaw. It was a protection. Your body did what it needed to do to keep you safe when safe wasn't available to you. The Disappearing was your nervous system's greatest act of loyalty.
The problem is that it doesn't know when to stop.
So now, in your daily life, in conversations that aren't dangerous, in relationships that aren't threatening, in moments that are actually fine, your body is still disappearing. Still protecting you from a danger that has already passed.
This is what it looks like:
Your breath becomes so shallow you almost forget you're breathing at all. High in the chest. Barely there.
Your eyes go somewhere else. Not closed, just gone. That faraway look that people sometimes comment on, like you're present but not quite here.
Your shoulders fold inward, your chest drops, and there's a subtle but unmistakable sense of your whole self pulling upward and away from the ground, as though your body is trying to leave before you've consciously decided to go.

You avoid the conversation you know you need to have. You sidestep the confrontation. You find a reason to leave the room, the relationship, the moment, yourself.

To meet her, we don't use force or complex mindset tricks. We take a gentle, structured 14-day journey together through four specific somatic thresholds:
The four sessions
Session 1 - The Wise Woman Arrives · Monday 13th July
You name the pattern. For many women this session alone is worth everything. Because when you can finally see what you've been doing, The Disappearing loses its power over you. That recognition is the first act of staying.
Session 2 - The Wise Woman Remembers · Friday 17th July
You go into the body. Not into story, into sensation. What has your body been holding that you haven't been able to feel yet? This session is where the grief gets witnessed, the losses named, the unlived life honoured. And then released. Because the body needs to move what it has been carrying.
Session 3 - The Wise Woman Stays · Monday 20th July
You learn your personal early warning signals and you build your toolkit. Hands on heart. Base of skull. Self-holding. And when you need more, you call on your inner Wise Woman - your own ancient knowing that was always there, even when you weren't.
Session 4 - The Wise Woman Lands · Friday 24th July
You feel what's different. Not think it. Feel it. The softness and the strength together. The flow, the freedom, the creative abundant feminine energy that is your birthright. You are present. Grounded. Seen.

Through these thresholds, you will build a somatic toolkit that works in real life, not just in sessions - practices you can use in the moment, in the conversation, in the body, when it matters most. You will experience The Still Point - that precise moment between leaving and staying where everything becomes possible.

Before our final session, I'll ask you to find a stone. Any stone, from your garden, a walk, your windowsill. During our closing ritual you'll breathe into it, set your intention, and that stone becomes a physical anchor for the felt sense of your Wise Woman. You'll write her a card - a word, a colour, a name, whatever is entirely and only yours.
Then you receive a Violet Flame activation. An energetic clearing of everything that has been loosened and released over the 14 days. A purification. A beginning.
Between every live session, you will receive a daily voice note and email from me. Warm, simple, and tethering. A practice reminder, a reflection, and a moment of beauty to keep you connected to yourself in the gaps when The Disappearing will try to reclaim you.

About Victoria

Victoria Page has spent nearly three decades walking the path she now teaches.
She didn't arrive at this work through a training manual. She arrived through her own life - the losses, the relationships, the years of disappearing without a name for what was happening. The story above is hers. And the way back is what she now holds for other women.
Her formal training spans somatic and trauma-informed methodologies, alongside Angelic and Usui Reiki, Rahanni Celestial Healing, Ayurvedic Health Consultancy, Kundalini Yoga, Life Alignment, Chopra Meditation, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Crystal Healing and Intuitive Healing with Shamanic training. She is a Sistership Circle Facilitator and Spiritual Coach.
But the roots of this work were already alive in her long before any qualification. Nearly three decades of instinct, practice, and lived experience that no training can teach and no certificate can confer.
